History
Joy Academy Online was officially founded in August 2025, based in Irvine, California. Registered in the state of California as a non-profit educational organization, Joy Academy Online exists for one purpose: to serve all students — regardless of background, location, or circumstance — with transformative, high-quality education.
The founding team brings over 16 years of international education experience across the United States and Asia, supporting multiple schools, designing curricula, and helping students transition successfully into international academic programs. That depth of experience — in classrooms, in school leadership, and in curriculum development — shapes every decision we make at Joy Academy Online.
As the global education landscape evolved and online learning demonstrated its power to reach students everywhere, we built a comprehensive, full-subject bilingual curriculum system. Joy Academy Online is the culmination of that journey: a school designed from the ground up to be excellent, accessible, and deeply human.
